3rd Ave Terrace
LDGN designed a series of outdoor rooms for a variety of resident activities on this
rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Manhattan.
Stucco and teak planters were used to define the spaces. An overhead trellis shades the dining area containing a large communal table. Lounge chairs line up in the open sunning area and comfortable sofas and chairs define an intimate conversation space. The plant palate provides color, texture and interest throughout the year.
This urban escape meets the programmatic goals in a well designed, cost effective solution.
